Today was a hectic day for IT work in San Diego. Emergencies popped up all over Carlsbad with various clients experiencing power issues which caused some of their IT equipment, servers, pc's, computers, and networking equipment to experience glitches and some components even went bad. The diagnosis was that it was a power issue caused by SDG&E in Carlsbad and i even spoke to them in the streets and I explained my concern for the clients of Perfect Integration. Needless to say, we we are able to attend to all the clients concerns, get them back up and running, and put them in touch with SDG&E to issue a claim for possible reimbursement for the downtime and costly repair bills the power spike/ surge/ blown transformer in Carlsbad caused.
I am glad we were able to get local customers back up and running on their business computer services in a timely manner as their businesses are HEAVILY dependent on technology to drive their business and downtime is never desired.
